I'm a very cheerful person and generally have a good time no matter what I'm doing. I have a great (or at any rate, enthusiastic) sense of humor. I like to laugh, though not so much that I have to be restrained and sedated, usually. I love to tell stories but I never tell lies. I have bunch of degrees. I make a nice living off of one of them, and the others I mainly use to annoy :) I know when to stop joking around, too. I love the thrill of romance--the touch, the smile, or the meeting of eyes, that a casual bystander might miss, but which burns into your heart forever; the gestures both large and small, which move the ground beneath you, make you dizzy, and only the arms of the girl who rocked your world can make you steady again.
If you'd asked me a year ago, I would have said that I like rollerblading where it's flat and biking where it isn't (and where it's vertical, I enjoy driving past and saying, "Man that's some cool scenery."). But since I built a pool, I really enjoy swimming. I go to the gym regularly too. I also have a very rich inner world, and I enjoy a number of creative activities, most recently writing and 3D computer graphics. I travel 2-3 times a year, too (most recently to a beach in Florida, to Aspen, and to New York). Even when I'm traveling for work, I usually spend extra days there, if I can, so I can have a good time.
I hope for someone who knows how to laugh and how to marvel; someone who is mature but hasn't lost that childlike sense of wonder about seeing and learning new things. Someone whose soul will resonate with mine in that odd, almost magical way each of us experiences so rarely, where we look into the eyes of a loved one and say, "It's funny, but I feel like I've known you forever." (In a good way, of course :)
